- On-device AI-powered 'Smart Around View Monitor (S-AVM)' demonstration captures global attention
- 360-degree omnidirectional sensing and intelligent object recognition technology eliminate blind spots on construction and industrial sites.

[SEOUL, South Korea – January 23, 2026] – Kyungwoo Systech (CEO Yong-jun Chang), a leader in electronic solutions for construction machinery and industrial vehicles, announced that it has successfully concluded its exhibition at CES 2026. The company showcased its core electronic system, 'KLION™', designed to implement physical AI in construction equipment.
During the event, Kyungwoo Systech unveiled its on-device AI-based Smart Around View Monitor (Model: S-AVM), integrated into the 'KLION™ Alpha Series Cluster'—a system engineered with a cutting-edge AI engine and advanced telematics technology. The live demonstration of the S-AVM system garnered significant interest from attendees by providing a 360-degree view around the equipment without blind spots, while simultaneously utilizing AI to distinguish between people and obstacles in real-time.
Representatives from global construction machinery manufacturers particularly noted the KLION system’s superior object recognition capabilities and its intuitive User Interface (UI). The system's modular architecture was also highlighted as a key competitive advantage, as it allows for flexible updates to rapidly evolving AI technologies and optimization for various work environments.
The showcased solution was developed as a result of R&D efforts under the Advanced Technology Center (ATC+) program, supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Resources. By participating in the ATC joint pavilion, Kyungwoo Systech demonstrated both the excellence of Korean technology and its strong potential in the global market.
"The KLION™ solution demonstrated at CES 2026 is the culmination of physical AI technology that can innovatively enhance safety and operational efficiency on construction sites," said Yong-jun Chang, CEO of Kyungwoo Systech. "Building on the competitiveness of the KLION Alpha Series proven at this exhibition, we plan to accelerate our expansion into global markets, including North America and Europe."
